Blue background with orange arch

The blue background is the same color as the current state flag and represents our long history as a state. It also evokes the color of the classic Book of Mormon cover, acknowledging the importance of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to our state's history. The orange arc represents multiple things at once. First, it evokes Delicate Arch, one of the most nationally and internationally recognized symbols of Utah. Delicate Arch is a lasting symbol of the many natural wonders found in our state. The color of the arc is copied directly from images of Delicate Arch. Secondly, the arc evokes a rainbow, a symbol of natural beauty as well as diversity and inclusion. Finally, the orange arc on a dark background also suggests a sunrise, representing a bright future for Utah.
