Description |
Utah's famous red rock valleys are symbolized by the red triangles lining the flag's wall. Encapsulated by the valley are the blue mountains seen from nearly anywhere within the state. Adventure calls in the distance while the sun rising behind the mountains represents the bright future full of opportunity for Utah. The honeybee, our state insect, symbolizes not only Utahns hard working nature but also industry and pays homage to our beehive state name. Its five black stripes represent our beloved 5 national parks. |
