Enclosed is my entry for the Tribune Flag Contest As a lifetime resident of Utah I have always been proud of our reputation for having a strong work ethic To me; the beehive on the current flag symbolizes industriousness; not just industry As you will see; the flag I created retains a stylized version of the beehive The colors I have used are similar to the ones that have been on many of the 2002 Olympic materials I think they are attractive and it's hard to imagine an event that will have more impact on the world's perception (and the world's awareness) of Utah than the Winter Games I thought ; why not continue the theme? It's been fun trying to capture what Utah means to all of us Thanks for the opportunity to share my view Regardless of the outcome; I'm really looking forward to hearing the NAVA member's opinions in March
