Description |
Turning students into entrepreneurs was the idea behind the creation for the Center for Medical Innovation. Receiving guidance from multidisciplinary faculty and industry leaders, students learned to shape their ideas into commercially viable products. In 2011, the first Bench-to-Beside competition was held. With a $500 prototyping budget and six months months development time, medical, engineering and business students worked together on medical device innovation projects. |
