Description |
"Blue = blue skies of Utah, loyalty, stability, confidence of the people of Utah. The blue is intended to be the same color as the current Utah flag, but can be a different shade, if this design is chosen by the committee. Red = The red rocks/soil of Utah; the red is in the shape of an arch, representing the famous arches of Utah as well as freedom and adventure. Red represents leadership and strength. Equilateral triangles which represent Perfectness, Unity, Importance and Equality. They represent the beautiful snowy, white mountains of Utah, and like the red, they also represent freedom and adventure. White represents illumination, such as education, diversity of people and thought, inclusion. There are three mountains representing the peaks of Agriculture, Industry, and the People and Culture of Utah. In this flag design, each peak is equal to the other." |
