Description |
This flag is meant to pleasingly represent the diverse people and environments of Utah and their unification as one community. The white on the top line represents the mountains and world-famous snow of Northern Utah. The orange line represents Southern Utah and it's iconic national parks, deserts and red rock. The five Sego Lily's, the Utah state flower, represent the five major native American tribes of Utah: Goshute, Ute, Paiute, Shoshone, and Navajo. The blue backdrop represents Utah's active, outdoorsy, and adventurous culture, as well as the sky we all live under, unifying the diverse aspects of Utah's environment and people that make our state so unique. |
