Fidone, Savatore J., Ph.D.

Dr Fidone was born in New York City in 1939. Dr Fidone received his B.S. from Georgetown University in 1962 and his Ph.D. in physiology from the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse in 1967. Dr Fidone completed an NIH Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Physiology in 1969. Dr Fidone came to the University as Instructor in physiology in 1969 and later became Associate Professor. Dr Fidone was name Professor of Physiology in 1981. Dr Fidone was Chair of the Department of Physiology from 1988-2005. Dr Fidone is Emeritus Professor of Physiology.
