Description
Presenting Symptom: recent sudden deafness in right ear and double vision; occasional difficulty opening right eyelid. Clinical Signs: slight ptosis on right side; normal opto-kinetic response; excursions are full. History: 63 year old male; chief complaint was a nasopharyngeal carcinoma; presented first 10-12 years prior as tumor on neck; radiation therapy; 7000 rads/right and 6000/left in 1975; primary identified in 1983 after sinus problems; additional 7000 rads/both sides. Disease/ Diagnosis: Myotonia; Nasopharyngeal Neoplasms.
