| Description |
Typescript of a biographical sketch of Edward Bunker, written by himself in 1894. He was born in Maine in 1822, went to the Midwest, and joined the LDS Church in 1845. He joined the Mormon Battalion, marched to California, and arrived in Utah in 1847. Returning east for his family, they finally arrived in Utah in 1850, to settle at Ogden. He later helped to settle Saint George and Santa Clara, Utah, and Bunkerville, Nevada. Original text held by Lois E. Jones of Overton, Nevada, copied by Virginia M. Lee in 1937 |
