Professor, Division of Hematology/Oncology; Director, Patient Care Center, Huntsman Cancer Institute. Dr. Ward was born in Salt Lake City. He attended the University of Utah School of Medicine and graduated in 1976. He served his Internship and Residency at Duke University from 1979-1982 and a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology the University of Utah School of Medicine. He was appointed to the faculty in 1982 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 1988. Dr. Ward is currently Professor in the Hematology/Oncology Division at the University and Director of the Patient Care Center at Huntsman Cancer Institute. Dr Ward is the Margaret A. Amundsen Endowed Professor of Medicine. |
