| Description |
John Reinertsen was Associate Dean of the School of Medicine and Chief Executive Officer of the University Hospital from 1970-1975. He continued serving as Executive Director until 1989. Under Mr Reinersten's leadership, the budgeting and funding process of the hospital was greatly improved. During Mr Reinersten's tenure, the health sciences complex saw a major expansion effort culminating in the new Hospital, the Dumke building, the Wintrobe research and education building and 700-space covered parking terrace. Mr Reinersten retired from the university in 1991. |
