Description |
There are three large stripes, blue, white and green from top to bottom, and a cyan chevron on the left with a star on the inside. In the middle of the flag is the silhouette of a seagull. The blue and white for heaven represent the people's willingness to inhabit the land, while the green for the grass and the seagull represent its prospects and produce. The cyan color represents hope for a brighter future, the chevron shape represents the people's actions to make it so, and the star represents the people's unity and organization. The flag is supposed to move with the wind with the aforementioned symbols in mind. To see the seagull flying and the chevron dictating its course is meant to remind the people of the long-held values of industry and perseverance that make a stronger and more prosperous future for the state of Utah. |
