Description |
This flag is based on the great natural beauty of Utah's desert landscape. The sky and rivers are represented by the bright blue, while the sandstone is the slightly faded orange, and the green in the middle represents the grasses and plants within the landscape. There is also an arch shape in a much richer orange shade, which is both a nod to the famous arches of Utah's canyons and also an upside-down U shape. It is a simple design, yes, but one that is extremely easy to sew and, potentially, use as merchandise. Natural beauty is something that can unite the citizenry of Utah, whatever their gender, race, or creed, and to me a flag should reflect unity above all else. Thank you for your consideration. |
