I would like to thank my older brother, Luke Schoensee, for pushing me to develop Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models with ANSYS that are comparable to those developed by the top Formula SAE teams. I am grateful for the countless hours on the phone with Luke where he helped explain the problem as well as potential solutions to many confusing ANSYS errors I ran into, and all the pro tips and tricks he showed me to become a more knowledgeable and efficient ANSYS user. I would like to thank Gilles Eggenspieler, Jacob Gantz, and Brenda Elser from ANSYS for all the resources and support they provided to make these simulations possible. I would also like to thank Dr. Henry Fu for willing to be my thesis faculty supervisor and all the improvements he suggested. Finally, I would like to thank Martin Cuma for all his help getting setup to run full 3D car simulations using the Center for High Performance Computing (CHPC) at the University of Utah. |
