Image of Log Cabin / Barn Raising quilt created circa 1933 (or earlier) by Ora Galli Sweat. Also includes questionnaires describing the quilt completed by Lois S. Anderson as part of the Utah Quilt Guild's documentation days held from 1988-1994. Ora Galli Sweat was born in 1888 in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She married Lewis Sweat Jr. in 1913. They had ten children. This quilt won a ribbon at the Wasatch County Fair. It was given as a wedding gift to Ray and Lois S. Anderson on March 2, 1934 |
