Typescript of an autobiographical sketch by Fred Pierce (or Peirce) of Ogden, Utah, for Utah Works Progress Administration's "Pioneer personal history" survey. He grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and had freighting, mining, and cattle ranching jobs in Wyoming, South Dakota, and elsewhere. He was part of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in Europe in 1892. Typed by Elvera Manful of Ogden in January of 1940 |
