Copy of an autobiographical article by Erastus Perry Bingham, originally published in the Pioneer magazine in 1937 and copied for the Utah Works Progress Administration's "Pioneer personal history" survey. He was born in Illinois, and came to Utah in 1847, settling in Weber County. His grandfather and uncles were herding cattle at Bingham Canyon and discovered valuable ore there |
