State of Utah economic & demographic projections 1988

This is the updated projection of "baseline" or the "most likely" economic and demographic conditions through the year 2010 for the State of Utah, its counties, and its multi-county planning districts (MCD's) Rapidly changing economic and demographic circumstances in recent years have exacerbated the usual difficulties encountered when making long term projections. Despite these added uncertainties, an attempt has been made to quantify the changes that have occurred and develop new long term projections. While the projection process is improving, the uncertainty of the times makes it technically more difficult and, to an extent, decreases the reliability of the projections.
