Description |
Presenting Symptom: Retinal neovascularization. Pathology: Neovascularization. A plexus of newly formed vessels emanates from the disc and lies flat on the surface of the retina. Despite this neovasculogenesis from the disc, the amount of intraretinal retinopathy is minimal. The patient was a 37-year old male with a 35-year history of diabetes.
