Description |
Ophthalmologic examination for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) is a requirement for all infants born at <1200 gm or < 29 weeks gestation and is considered one of the most painful and stressful procedures for preterm infants in the NICU. Currently, there is no uniform approach to minimize its effects. |
