Description |
Red: Represents our iconic red rocks. It also represents our settler's perseverance to settle in a mostly deserted area and build up from there. Yellow: Represents health and prosperity, which we have through farming. One of the main things we farm is corn, and I grabbed the color of this flag from a picture of corn. Blue: Represents loyalty. It also represents perseverance and bravery. The blue star on the peak represents how our prosperity comes from our mountains. Our water, our money, and our lack of natural disasters are all helped by the mountains. The circle behind the beehive represents the sun, or summer, and the mountains represent winter, because in Utah we have hot summers, and cold winters. The beehive is our state symbol. It represents hard working. |
