Utah state color per WIKI is a honey yellow. We are also the 45th state so I added 45 stars (I like flags with stars). I added the beehive as we are the beehive state, but for the opening of the hive I made it the shape of Utah. I kept the 1896 because well... 1896. Rather than go with the usual "arches" as that is over played, I added zion national park in the background. Since most of our state is desert I went with a desert theme. The Salt Lake/Ogden/Provo valleys only make up a VERY small portion of our state, So I felt incorporating the rest of us is important. I know you won't use this flag, but thank you for the consideration. |
