On a solid dark blue background (the state gem), the shield consists of a copper ring (natural resources) with a railroad spike and pickaxe (Utah history) crossed ("This is the place") with the beehive at the center and the word Industry. From red rock formations with vivid sunsets to snowcapped mountains (Utah meaning "people of the mountains") Utah is a land of beauty. Utah's Aspen grove (state tree) symbolizes unity--for one tree cannot grow alone--and their varied colors show diversity and change. As one of seven generations to live in Utah, these are what Utah means to me. Thank you for considering my design.
