The reddish orange field represents the red rocks of southern Utah. The other 4 corners states have straight red in their flags but I believe Utah should have an orange tinted red. The white mountains represent the famous Utah snow of the northern portion of the state. The blue portion of the flag represents the precious water that flows from the mountains into the Great Salt Lake. The yellow beehive is a tie to history of Utah. |
