Colors: yellow. Yellow is associated with happiness and sunshine and so I chose that because Utah should be happy!! pink. I put pink because we were one of the first to let women vote and give women rights. pink is associated with love, kindness, and femininity. Symbols: Sego lily: I put the Sego Lily on there because it is Utah state flower. I couldn't get the color right but I tried so hard! Beehive: I put the beehive on there because I grew up always know Utah as the beehive state. I feel like it represents Utah very well. when I think of a beehive I think Utah. dates: I put the dates there because they are the dates that I learned are important 1847 - when Morman pioneers came 1896 - when we officially became a state |
