The 45 stars represent the 44 states before Utah was founded and the 45th star represents Utah. The middle star is Utah. The two biggest stars to the left and right represent Utahs closest friends Idaho and Arizona. Yellow represents the Native Americans who lived here before us and is the color of a beehive. Blue represents are freedom as a state. White represents salt such as the salt in the Great Salt Lake. Red represents the blood of the pioneers and the struggles they went through. The circle represents unity. |
