Description The white hexagonal pattern represents two things. The first is the honeycomb pattern of a beehive, which has been an important symbol to our state since Utah's admission to the Union. Utah is still an industrious hub of activity and progress. It also connotes a snowflake, boasting of the "Greatest Snow on Earth." The main blue color of the flag is a modern update to Utah's original blue and represents the deepest blue of the sky and our state's limitless potential. The red-orange stripe across the middle reflects the beautiful red-orange landscapes of Southern Utah. Overall, the main messages are industry and tradition, and natural beauty. I hope you enjoy it.
