Typescript of an autobiography of Andrew Jackson Workman, copied by James Erickson in 1936 for the WPA historical records survey. Workman was born in Kentucky in 1824 and the family joined the LDS church in 1839. They went to Nauvoo and started for the west in 1846. Andrew joined the Mormon Battalion and was in California when gold was discovered. He later settled at Toquerville, Washington County |
