Description |
"Life elevated. The mountain symbol is because of all the mountains in the state, natural formations that have been here longer than humans. (Also, according to legend, the word Utah means Land of the Mountain People, though the reality is that it probably isn't exactly true. In any case, the mountains are a big draw for a lot of people) The blue is for persistence/loyalty and the orange is for the spectacular red-rock formations in the state. From what I understand, as well, the mountain symbol has occasionally been used by the indigenous inhabitants of Utah." |
