Description Presenting Symptoms: Retinal hemorrhage with exudate. Pathology: Macular edema. Clinical: The prepapillary vessels have leaked blood into the overlying vitreous. Other evidence of retinopathy is minimal and the major retinal vessels appear normal. The patient was a 52-year old male with a 15-year history of diabetes. Disease/ Diagnosis: Diabetic retinopathy
