Christopher Nelson is the author of Blue House, published in the Poetry Society of America's Chapbook Series; Capital City at Midnight, recipient of the 2014 Bloom Chapbook Prize; and Love Song for the New World, published in the Seven Kitchens Press Editor's Series. He is the founder and editor of Green Linden Press and the journal, Under a Warm Green Linden, named by Entropy Magazine as one of the best journals of 2017. Betsy Sholl has published nine books of poetry, most recently House of Sparrows: New and Selected Poems (2019), winner of the Four Lakes Prize from the University of Wisconsin Press. Otherwise Unseeable won the 2014 Maine Literary Award for Poetry. She was Poet Laureate of Maine from 2006-11. She is the recipient of an NEA fellowship and two Maine Artists fellowships. She has taught in the writing program at MIT, the University of Southern Maine, and the Vermont College of Fine Arts. The speakers were introduced by Natasha Sajé, Professor of English and curator of the Anne Newman Sutton Weeks Poetry Series. This lecture was held and filmed on September 26, 2019 at the Kim T.
