| Description |
Dr Ezyaguirre was born in Santiago, Chile in 1923. Dr Ezyaguirre received both his B.A. (1940) and M.D. (1947) degrees from the University of Chile. After postdoctoral work at Johns Hopkins University, Dr Ezyaguirre returned to the University of Chile as Assistant and Associate Professor of Neurophysiology and Pharmacology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile from 1950-57. Dr Ezyaguirre joined the faculty of the University of Utah in 1957. Dr Ezyaguirre was Chair of the Department of Physiology from 1965-88. Dr. Eyzaguirre retired as Professor Emeritus in 2005 and returned to Chile. Dr Eyzaguirre died in 2009. |
