Description |
The flag represents the three geographical regions of Utah. In the foreground is the redrock arch of southern Utah. In the middle is the white plains of central Utah. In the background are the mountainous region of northern Utah and the Wasatch Front. The three peaks represent the various cultural histories of Utah. The native tribes, the pioneer founders, and all of the people that have come to Utah since those times for whatever reason. In the Center, the arch creates a perfect circle, representing the ideal that every Utahn should seek to better the world. |
