The colors of this flag represent what I think are the colors of Utah. Orange represents the colors of the mountains we see in southern Utah, with blue skies above, and the lower white to represent many attributes of Utah including: the cloud fronts of the crazy weather in this state, the best snow on earth, and the Bonneville Salt Flats. On the left side of the flag are honey comb hexagons in the shape of the Great Salt Lake and the beehive to represent the location of the capitol, Salt Lake City, in relation to the lake. |
