Description |
The five vertical stripes represent the five original Native American tribes of Utah in red and white which represent the red rock mountains of the South and the Snow capped mountains of the north. I chose vertical stripes because they represent life elevated. A centered beehive represents both the pioneer history and the fact that we are "the Beehive state". The blue background inside the circle represents the Great Salt Lake and many bodies of water throughout the state. |
