Description |
This is a variation of a aspen leaf flag I submitted earlier that instead of a straight line between the red and white, it is a mountainous line. The white represents northern Utah and the snowy peaks. The red represents southern Utah and its red rock. The center line is in the shape of mountains, further representing Utah's famed scenery. The aspen leaf in the center represents the Utah state tree. Utah as also home to Pando, the world's largest living organism. In addition, the aspen represents all Utahns. Just as an aspen forest is actually a community of trees, linked together underground by sharing the same root system, we Utahns are also linked together as one community and are stronger together in our beloved state. |
