I think it's important to keep something of the original flag. I chose the beehive for the industriousness of Utah's citizens. I think we are known for self sufficiency and creating new opportunities. We work together, we care about our neighbors. We are a family. The five stripes represent Utah's five national parks. Five represents curiosity and adventure. The blue symbolizes our open spaces, imagination, inspiration and stability. Blue can also represent our beautiful skies(expansive and welcoming), water(strong and moving forward) and mountains(Beauty and adventure). Blue inspires confidence and tranquility.
