Description |
A beehive, because we're the beehive state, which also means hard work, and it represents everyone, as not everyone is or was a pioneer, nor was everyone a native American, But i think the Beehive represents all Utahns, no matter their Origins. And then a Six point Star, because it represents the six corners of the state, it also symbolizes our statehood, which came by sacrifice, hard work, and dedication. The Yellow cycle Stands as representative of our border's, because that's what separates us from our neighbors, and it's there for us to grow and prosper as Utahns. The color's otherwise are sighted everyday by me, a sky blue, with desert tan, and the vegetation green, I see these as symbolism of the common things of Utah, that being home, neighbors, community in general, and the things that make life in Utah Great, which is something to be seen everywhere in Utah, and not just in my life, because I know it's common in every corner, and I'd say that in this case all these colors I see, are in nature, the most inclusive thing to exist. So I call this flag, "the Common flag of Utah" |
