Description Dr Stenchever was born in Patterson, New Jersey in 1931. Dr Stenchever received his A.B from New York University in 1951 and his M.D. from the University of Buffalo in 1956. Dr Stenchever completed his Internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York City (1956-1957) and Residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center (1957-1960). Dr Stenchever was an Instructor, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Tissue Laboratory at Case Western Reserve University from 1964-1970. Dr Stenchever was Professor and Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1970-1977. Dr Stenchever left the University to become Professor and Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington in 1977.
