Utah flag project First I used an arch as a symbol because when I think about Utah arches are one of the first things I think of, also I think others think of arches when thinking of Utah. IVext, I drew a seagull as a symbol because the seagull is the state bird, so I think it is an important symbol that represents Utah. Another symbol I used is a beehive and a honeycomb, I used this symbols because we're known as the beehive state. I also used a Sego lily as a symbol because they're the state flower and they're also beautiful. For my fifth symbol I used territory of Utah. Finally I put the name of Utah at the top and I put 1896 at the bottom because that's the year that Utah became a state, and I used the colors I did because they remind me the most of Utah.
