"The yellow aspen leaf in the center of the flag represents the Pando - the world's largest organism, analogous to Utahns coming together to support each other - it is also in the shape of a heart symbolizing determination. The white hexagon is the shape of a honeycomb, which represents industry and Utah's origins. Green field on the left represents agriculture and grey field on right represents urban, while the white stripe in the middle represents technology that brings us together." |
