Description |
This document will serve as Patrick Eccles' Honors Thesis at the University of Utah and will reflect upon the process and result of his and his team members' senior project within the Entertainment Arts and Engineering program: the 3D Puzzle Platformer A Divided Light . On the senior project team, Patrick acted as Design Lead and contributed to the project primarily through Level Design; script writing and debugging; collecting and responding to feedback; and assembling Game Builds for presentation, testing, and submission. This document will attempt to provide an assessment of the success of the project, identify best project practices and problem areas, and provide suggestions for improved methods on future projects in the gaming industry. This document will present these with an emphasis on the collaborative design process used by the team and reflect on the process's strengths and weaknesses in its application to a student project. |
