This collection documents scenic Utah. Morton photographed and filmed many of Utah's natural areas, thus helping the tourist industry. He also documented recreation activities. His films were shown in schools and as tourist promotions.

This project, funded by the National Park Service, documents the history of the Golden Spike National Historic Site. The interviews were conducted in 1974 by Gregory Thompson and Phil Notarianni in conjunction with the American West Center.

The Great Basin Association maintains this photo collection of Great Basin National Park. Located in Eastern Nevada, the once-thought barren area is full of unique wildlife and geological formations. This collection contains a number of antiquated photos, depicting early developments in the National Park, as well as contemporary photos of its landscape and park facilities.

Western Soundscape Spectrograms
For more than two decades the National Park Service and its contractors have conducted acoustical monitoring at park units throughout the United States. Most of this data has never before been widely accessible to the public, and the Western Soundscape Archive now makes available more than 10,000 spectral images from approximately 200,000 hours of park service sound level monitoring.
