Grace Lutheran Church, Sandy [02]

Address: 1815 East 9800 South, Sandy, UT. Affiliated with Missouri Synod, and chartered in 1982. The campus includes a private Lutheran school. Begun as a mission of Christ Lutheran Church in Murray, its first worship service was at Bergs Memorial Chapel on Dec. 6, 1981. The congregation met for a while at Mountain Shadows Reception Center. A five-acre campus was purchased, and the original church building was constructed in 1983-84, and dedicated 15 April 1984. The school's construction began in 1986 and was followed by two expansions.
