Men gather down town on horses to distribute prairie dog poison. Each man carries about 20 pounds of the poison. Six to ten men constitute a squad to aradicate the prairie dog problem. The goal is to preserve the feed for sheep and cattle and to protect farms from this pest. This is part of the County Extension program. |
