Description |
The Secretary of the Interior submits to Congress the reports of various Indian agents. Southern Ute agent Warren Patten reports the number of Southern Utes on the reservation, the state of agriculture and livestock on the reservation, and instances of alcohol consumption. Patten claims that there are poor accommodations for the police force and that a number of Ute children at the Albuquerque Indian School have died of disease. Other subheadings of the report include leasing properties, agency buildings, and depredations |
