"So I stayed there (Sugarville, Utah) oilin' all that fall and then the winter of 1920, oh boy, it got so cold. It was awful cold. So we shut down. Then some of us come into headquarters, that's where our camp was. We all worked to get these tile machines going. By that time we had a great big kitchen. Boy and we had room for 40 men. We'd fired that little Chris, we'd chased him off. And we got another big man, a great big fellow out of Salt Lake... He was our cook and cooked all the winter of 1919 and 1920;"
