Description The Office of Wellness and Integrative Health, at the request of the SVP for Health Sciences began addressing faculty burnout in the School of Medicine and the Eccles Health Sciences Library in Winter of 2016. The first annual burnout and needs assessment was completed in Summer 2016. The Summer/Fall 2017 survey expanded to faculty and staff across University of Utah Health (UUH). UUH is one of the only academic entities in the nation to assess burnout and satisfaction of all faculty within health sciences. The information gathered has been used to design programming to support faculty and staff well-being and to direct advocacy and collaboration efforts. This survey is now coordinated by the UUH Resiliency Center.
