Description Digitized copy of an audiocassette recording of part one of an interview between Fawn McKay Brodie and Evelyn Dorn on July 13, 1976. Dorn was Richard Nixon's secretary in Whittier, California. This interview was part of Brodie's research for her 1981 book, Richard Nixon: The Shaping of His Character. Utah native Fawn Brodie was a history professor and biographer who published several books about historical figures, including Thomas Jefferson, Joseph Smith, and Richard Nixon.
