Description |
A V.E. Day celebrating the surrender of Germany was held in Vernal. A parade preceding the program highlighted the event. The American Legions color guard, the Uintah High School Girls Pep Club and the entire high school student body accompanied the Uintah High School band in the march down Main Street. People stand in the street to join in the celebration. The girl facing the camera on the left is Jeanne Bills, who was a student at Uintah High School at the time. |
